  DIAGNOSTIC TOOLS:

  Servo Valve Tester USD $500.00

ATS Automation Servo Tester
  • Coil current adjustment (0 to +/-100mA) limited by servo coil impedance

  • Direct coil current indication (and battery status)

  • Jog forward - backward control c/w weatherproof boot

  • Diecast aluminum enclosure

  • 8ft cable c/w 4-pin Military connector

  • Waterproof carrying case

The Servo Valve Tester (jogbox) is primarily used to diagnose problems in electro-hydraulic positioning systems by allowing service personnel to rapidly test the manual response of the hydraulics to direct commands. It can also be used during repairs and regular maintenance periods by simplifying adjustments to machinery.

This servotester is compatible with most industry standard servovalves manufactured by MOOG, VICKERS, PARKER, REXROTH, ATCHELY and others that conform to the dual-coil 4-pin military circular connector format. Up to 100mA drive current is available and is indicated proportionally on 2 bi-color LED's which will detect failure of one-half of the valve coils through the exclusive Dual-Drive circuit. This also allows testing of single coil valves such as the SUNSTRAND pump-stroker types.

MOOG Proportional Valve Tester USD $600.00

BOSCH Proportional Valve Tester USD $600.00

ATS Proportional Valve Tester
  • Power supply 120Vac to 24VDC @ 2.7A

  • Flow command adjustment (+/-10V and +/-10mA)

  • Spool position indicator (MOOG 4/20mA or BOSCH +/-10V)

  • Power supply indicator green = OK (MOOG ver. only yellow = No feedback)

  • Jog forward/back toogle switch (mom.) control c/w weatherproof boot

  • 8ft cable c/w 7-pin Military connector

  • Waterproof carrying case

The MOOG Proportional Valve Tester works with the MOOG D633/634 series of valves as well as any other valves (MOOG or others) that conform to this standard.

The BOSCH Proportional Valve Tester works with the BOSCH 4WREE (opt. A1) series of valves as well as other valves (BOSCH or others) that conform to this standard.

Flow rate to the valve is adjusted from zero to max with the command knob (cw to increase) and the resulting spool position is indicated on a multicolor LED (dark at null, progressively more green or red for forward or reverse flow). On the MOOG version only, if the power LED is yellow then there is no spool feedback detected (0mA). Flow is commanded to the valve only while the jog toggle switch is activated.
